Overview

Day 1
Start your long weekend with breakfast in the airy surrounds of Higher Ground, located across the road from Southern Cross Station. Tee off late morning in the famed Melbourne Sandbelt at Peninsula Kingswood, a stunning example of Victoria's world class courses, within easy reach of Melbourne's CBD.
Day 2
Head to the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria's ultimate golfing destination, and go for the green at St Andrews Beach Golf Course. Cool off at the nearby St Andrews Beach Brewery, which produces delicious craft beer out of a converted stable. Then wind down with a soak at the award-winning Peninsula Hot Springs.
Day 3
Catch the ferry across the bay, from Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula to Queenscliff on the Bellarine. Stay and play at the Thirteenth Beach Golf Links, where the lodge-style accommodation overlooks two 18-hole courses. Dine at Jack Rabbit Winery, where you can raise a glass of cold-climate wine to dreamy views of Geelong and Melbourne in the distance.
Day 4
Get an early start at Barwon Heads Golf Club, a private course that welcomes visitors to play its challenging, yet beautiful links course. Conquer its par 3 thirteenth hole – one of the world's most iconic, according to Golf Digest. Finally, it's time to head back up the highway. Celebrate a successful trip at Asado, an Argentinian restaurant in Melbourne's Southbank.
