A statewide celebration of contemporary music, ALWAYS LIVE showcases the talents of rising stars and big names with everything including arena-style shows, intimate performances on rooftops, and in laneways and cosy venues.

Meredith Music Festival
8–10 December 2023
Held in the iconic Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, this December country festival is a favourite on the Victorian music calendar. Be warned: tickets sell out fast.

High Country Halls Music Festival
9 December 2023
The festival returns bigger and better at five locations, including Merrijig, Merton, Tolmie, Jamieson, and Bonnie Doon making its debut. Each hall has a fantastic line-up of talent featuring genres of blues, roots, country, folk, and Aussie rock.

Nariel Creek Folk Festival
27 December 2023 to 2 January 2024
With roots going back to 1962, this is the oldest running folk festival in Victoria. Hall dances, kids activities and open-air concerts. Bring a tent and set up camp.
