CresFest - Creswick's Folk and Roots Festival

Matsumura Blues Festival
1 June 2024
A line-up leading Australian and international blues, rock and folk musicians will blend their tunes with traditional Okinawan and Japanese artists at this exciting new festival at the iconic Prince Band Room in St Kilda. The fun continues the following long weekend (8-9 June) on the Mildura riverfront.

National Celtic Folk Festival

Melbourne Music Week evolved in 2023 to become part of Now or Never, a city-wide festival focusing on future technologies, innovation and the arts, and championing an experiential approach to engaging with live music.

Melbourne International Jazz Festival
18 - 27 October 2024
The internationally renowned celebration of jazz music attracts renowned musos from around the world and is a clear highlight of the Melbourne music calendar offering 10 days of live music.

High Country Halls Music Festival

A statewide celebration of contemporary music, ALWAYS LIVE showcases the talents of rising stars and big names with everything including arena-style shows, intimate performances on rooftops, and in laneways and cosy venues.

Historic Maldon township provides the venue for folk, bluegrass, jazz, and blues in a gathering that’s been taking place for more than 50 years.

Meredith Music Festival

Ringer Reef Sounds
December 2024
Ringer Reef Sounds is a family-friendly festival offering music, great wine and food, and a bit more at the beautiful Ringer Reef Winery.

Nariel Creek Folk Festival
December 2024 – January 2025
With roots going back to 1962, this is the oldest running folk festival in Victoria. Hall dances, kids activities and open-air concerts. Bring a tent and set up camp.

Beyond The Valley
