Choose your own adventure: do it all, select a few, or try just one - this is festival opera on a platter, with the Australian premiere of The Enchanted Pig (Dove) and edgy new productions of Poppea (Monteverdi) and Macbeth (Verdi, arr. Stopschinski). Mid-week across the Ranges you will find A Very Very Very Short History of Opera - Friday October 25 at 2:00pm at the Memo Hall, with other dates and venues to be confirmed.
The Gala opening night is the Australian Premiere of The Enchanted Pig - dress for the opera - and enjoy cocktails, local wine and canapés. The Festival runs across ten days from October 18 to October 27.
A feast for the senses, with all the Yarra Ranges has on offer: natural beauty, award-winning wine, exquisite food, culture, and welcoming hospitality: just an hour out of Melbourne.
