Enjoy a short break with this two night enchanting introduction to the river. From the moment you step aboard and hear the steam whistle blow you will be totally relaxed. Enjoy river cruising visiting a riverside winery, plus a onshore tour to the Barmah Wetlands for a guided Eco small boat cruise followed by a visit to one of region's leading small goods producers.

PS Emmylou will take you back to the romantic days of Australia's Paddlesteamers. The side-wheel paddlesteamers are distinctly Australian having first plyed the Murray river in 1853 and is now the world’s only wood-fired cruising paddlesteamer offering one to four night authentic cruises in comfort and style.

Built in the style of the 19th Century paddlesteamers, PS Emmylou recently underwent a specially designed luxury upgrade and fit-out and now features eight cabins accommodating just 16 guests. The refitted contemporary cabins and ensuites include fine linens topped with silky duvets. Cruising aboard a traditional wood fired paddlesteamer engages your senses from the moment you board: smell the warm oil of the 1906 engine, feel the heat as the engineer stokes the boiler with Redgum logs, climb up to the wheelhouse to chat to the Skipper.
