River red gums

Bask in the Murray's Mediterranean climate, see local wildlife and get insights into the Aboriginal heritage of the world's largest river red gum forest. See how the region's iconic waterways and wetlands feed the Barmah and Hattah-Kulkyne national parks, and explore the pink lakes, sand dunes and billabongs.

Head further east to the popular Nyah-Vinifera Park to wander through the red gums. Walk along the riverbank and discover small middens where Aboriginal people once camped and fished.
