The Best of the Two Bays Walk is similar to the Pick of the Two Bays walk with an 18 kilometre walk Boneo Road, including lunch at Duells Road and afternoon tea at Lightwood Creek. The 26.5 kilometres Two Bays Track can be walked in its entirety from Dromana Beach to the Cape Schanck Lighthouse, again fully catered.
All Two Bays Track walks include an abundance of wildlife and local flora identified by your experienced Guide and presenting an amazing visual experience for all walkers.
Any section of the beautiful Coastal Track can be walked, depending on the preferred length of walk. Experience nature at its wildest and most exposed. Predominantly a catered beach walk offering beautiful views of Bass Strait.
Other guided and catered walks are offered around the Peninsula and Point Nepean at the discretion of the respective walking group.
David Campbell started Mornington Peninsula Guided Walks in August 2018 purely from a love of bush walking.
All walks are completed in the one day and are all fully catered. This guided service takes all the hassle out of walk planning and preparation. All walks are conducted on a safety first basis. Your guide carries all water and drinks, requisite first aid needs, personal locator beacon and GPS. Everything is carried for you, so you do not even need a back pack. You walk hands free so you make the most of every minute of your day walk.
A number of walking tracks will be recommended dependent on your walking group’s ability. Walks are tailored from 10 to 26.5 kilometers for the full Two Bays Walking Track. The service has also created shorter walks within and connecting to the Two Bays Walking Track so walkers can appreciate this track’s beauty without necessarily walking it in its entirety.
Day walks also include the Coastal Track or sections thereof, a number of Red Hill, Main Ridge and Merricks trails and Point Nepean. If walkers have a particular walk in mind, they will guide you. Walk alone, or in a group.
