This community event is a gathering of local and visiting craftspeople and consists of talks, demonstrations and workshops of unusual and heritage crafts. Local craftspeople can display, demonstrate and sell their craft and local groups such as Community Houses, CWA, Embroidery and Quilting groups to show their work and perhaps gain new members. It gives visitors the opportunity to try out some crafts under guidance, to buy some beautiful handmade craftwork and to socialise with local and visiting artisans.
It is a family friendly expo for people interested in Craftwork. It provides professional craft artisans from out of area to teach and invites visitors to consider trying new skills. Children are catered for with a program of craft. Refreshments are for purchase and there is a mobile coffee trailer, too.
Children under the age of five are free.
