Your tour includes beer tastings from a local independent craft brewery, delicious chocolate samples, local fruit produce platters, as well as ample tastings served at two of the favourite boutique wineries.

  • Farmhouse visit and sample local produce at Gateway Estate Yarra Valley
    First stop Gateway Estate, you’ll sample the best seasonal local produce such as berries, apples and stone fruit as well as a selection of local cheeses and relishes. Gateway Estate also houses an indoor ‘U-pick’ strawberry indoor hydroponic greenhouse with strawberry picking available most of the year round. Also sample the Gateway strawberry liqueurs and ports and try the famous ‘strawberry shortcake’.
  • Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery
    For those sweet tooth chocolate lovers. Enjoy free chocolate samples at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery and watch the chocolatiers at work. You have ample time here to pick up some goodies – great for that chocolate lover you need a gift for or grab a coffee or ice cream from the café!
  • Yarra Valley
    Sit back and enjoy the views as you travel through the vineyards and rolling hills of the Yarra Valley with each winery selected for its excellent cellar door experience. The cool climate region provides the perfect growing conditions for all varietals, famous for its Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Chardonnay some of which you will get to sample throughout the day.
  • Healvesville
    We take time to explore Healesville township a “must do” when you journey to the Yarra Valley food and wine district. Stroll the boutique shops, artist galleries and grab a bit to eat at one of the al fresco cafes or popular pubs. You can even pop into Alchemy Distillery for a quick tasting (own expense).
  • Watts River Brewery
    In the afternoon, we visit a family owned cellar door where guests can meet the passionate brewers and sample a locally produced craft beer from Watts River Brewery. A similar alternative will be provided should any of our normally scheduled stops be closed for special events or public holidays.
