Overview

Do a lap of Chapel Street for everything from a vino date to a degustation of Asian fusion, Mexican or modern Australian flavours. Feast the day away along the famed south-side street that runs through Windsor, Prahran and South Yarra.

1. Yugen Restaurant

Head underground where the drinks flow and the tunes beat well past dusk. Yugen in South Yarra is an experience like no other, with a menu brought to life by head chef Alex Yu and filled with high-end Japanese. You can also expect an ode to other parts of Asia with Malaysian and Chinese flavours adding extra zest to an already impeccable menu.

2. Chacho's Windsor

Did someone say tacos and margs? The chill vibe at Chacho's goes hand in hand with its specialty dishes of Mexican-inspired pizzas, tacos and cocktails, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch, or a cocktail night with the girls.

3. Mr Miyagi

For a tongue-in-cheek take on Japanese culture, Mr Miyagi in Windsor is the place to be. Picture flamboyant cocktails and dishes inspired by the far reaches of the Asian continent. Throw in some in-your-face flavour and visual allure, and you've got the recipe for a pretty great night on Chapel.
