Overview
Head off the highway in your four-wheel drive and have your own High Country adventure. Travel up and down Alpine back roads and forest tracks at your own pace and discover idyllic campgrounds, rivers and waterfalls, and sweeping views at every turn.
Take a tour
Embark on a hassle-free adventure with a four-wheel drive tour operator, who will take you to places otherwise unreachable and tell tall tales of their own exploits. You can even opt for a motorbike trail riding tour for added thrill.
Take yourself off-road
Choose from the High Country's range of easy to extremely difficult four-wheel drive tracks, pack your supplies and head out for a weekend, a week or even a month of touring.
Cruise the network of well-maintained tracks around Mansfield and the Circuit Road around Mount Stirling. Bump and weave for around 50 kilometres along the unsealed road, glimpsing soaring views. Set up camp in isolated spots near Pineapple Flat and King Hut.
