On the rails

Choose from over 300 kilometres of popular rail trails taking in the best of the region. Delve into the Ned Kelly myth in Glenrowan and wander along the historic streetscapes of Beechworth on the Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. Rub shoulders with echidnas, wallabies and kangaroos on the way to the blue waters of Lake Eildon along the Great Victorian Rail Trail. For a shorter journey to tackle in a single day, hit the High Country Rail Trail and ride around the shore of Lake Hume.
