The Southern hemisphere may not have the real thing, but it does have Christmas in July. Mt Baw Baw will be decorated with fairy lights and Christmas decorations during the winter school holidays.
Santa will be roaming the village spreading some holiday cheer daily, along with the mountain mascots Frosti and Philly.
With free activities, such as daily snowmen building competition, toboggan races, face painting, Christmas movie screenings, marshmallow toasting and much more, it is an event not to be missed.
Enjoy a Christmas Feast at the Village Restaurant every night or marvel at Mt Baw Baw's famous fireworks display on 5 July at 8:00pm in the village. The restaurant deck has the best view, but be sure to get there early to get a good spot.
Sit down with Santa for breakfast on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Also includes fun Christmas themed activities for the kids.
Take a photo with Santa in the snow and for the first time, the event will feature the first Mt Baw Baw Santa Toboggan Race on July 5. Entry is free on the day with toboggan provided.
A detailed two week daily activity program will be available on Mt Baw Baw's website.
