The Great Trentham Spudfest is a community-focused, free festival, in the Central Victoria Highlands, celebrating the humble potato and featuring fun, food, music and entertainment.
This annual celebration is held each year on the first Saturday in May. The thirteenth event is on Saturday 2 May 2020 and the 'Spudly Love' reaches to the four corners of village.
The Spud Hub at Quarry Street Reserve will be alive with hot potatoes, hot music and fantastic entertainment for all the family, with Spudtastic activities and games for children (and for the young-at-heart).
Music and Makers on Market Street features artisan crafts, live music, pop-up food trucks and our Devonshire Tea Tent, with home-made potato scones served with jam and cream - yum.
The Historic Railway Station is abuzz with activities - a Tractor Pull, Classic Cars show and a wide variety of market stalls.
New for 2020, a Sustainability Festival on the Town Square will showcase products and services to help save energy, money and the planet.
Meander around the village on foot, or take a horse and cart ride to view things at a slower pace - all of this within an easy, scenic one-hour drive from Melbourne CBD.
Due to current advice on public gatherings, please contact the host of this event to confirm it is proceeding as planned.
