Free outdoor public WiFi is available in central Melbourne, Ballarat and Bendigo.

  • Central Ballarat: Sturt Street at Queen Victoria Square, opposite Ballarat Town Hall, and around Lake Wendouree
  • Central Bendigo: View Street Arts Precinct (Bendigo Art Gallery)

The service requires no login or passwords, and is ad-free. Access it by looking up available networks on your device, selecting 'VicFreeWiFi' and accepting the terms and conditions.

There are also free charging stations across Melbourne's eight CBD and inner-city train stations, as well as in other locations, such as Melbourne Central.
