Overview

Find your inner calm on a wander through Victoria's lush rainforest regions. Get off the beaten track and discover unique ecosystems teeming with native flora and fauna. Stroll through fern gullies, past misty waterfalls and along the banks of rambling creeks.

Victoria's rainforest is spread over five main regions: The Otways along the Great Ocean Road, The Central Highlands, East Gippsland, Wilsons Promontory and the Strzelecki Ranges.

In Gippsland, revel in the remote and enchanted landscapes of Tarra Bulga National Park, or head down the Great Ocean Road to walk under stands of giant California redwoods in The Otways. Drive through fern gullies along the Black Spur in the Yarra Ranges, and take a walk along a spectacular rainforest walkway on the southern slopes of Mount Donna Buang.
