The tour starts by travelling the winding roads of Warrandyte to Healesville where you visit Buckley’s Brewery, named after William Buckley, the famous escaped convict. The beers are traditionally brewed, non filtered and full flavoured. This is Yarra Valley's first traditional brewery with a solar heated brew. There are four beers to choose from.
Next, travel the rolling hills across to Yarra Glen to visit the new Napoleone Brewery and Cider house, a creative space in the Yarra Valley where they craft and share small, fresh batches of beer and four ciders.
Following is Hargreaves Hill Brewery, a family owned micro brewery that brews with rainwater. They make the ales the old fashioned way with no preservatives, chemicals or sugars. They have five beers and four on guest taps. This is also where you will stop for lunch at the bar and restaurant.
Last, you visit Coldstream Brewery which is a micro brewery, owned by Rod Williams, a renowned brewer for over 34 years. His experience and expertise in establishing the brewery is marked by the unique beer and ciders available.
You travel back to Melbourne via Warrandyte or Kangaroo Ground.
