Laidlaw Cottage is a delightful self-contained 1860s miner's cottage located on a quiet tree-lined street in Beechworth, North East Victoria, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. As you step through the front gate, the deep front verandah with its wirework and cane furniture invites you to sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquility.
Only 200 metres from the centre of Beechworth in the quiet end of one of the town's beautiful elm-lined streets, Laidlaw Cottage provides you with the perfect combination of history and comfort that will help you to relax and enjoy your stay.
With a cosy living space complete with wood heater and plenty of firewood nearby, as well as a reverse cycle split system, kitchen/dining, three bedrooms (queen, double and twin beds), the cottage is ideal for both friend and family getaways. The kitchen is equipped with microwave, fridge and electric stove.
A double spa with shower in the bathroom and basic laundry facilities including a second toilet off the back verandah. The lovely private back garden is delightful to retreat to for a barbecue.

When you stay at Laidlaw Cottage, you have the whole cottage to yourself. The cottage can accommodate six people in the configuration of one queen bed, one double bed & two singles. All linen and towels are provided and are included in the tariff. A portacot is available free of charge, however you must supply your own linen and towels.
