Great Ocean Walk

Enjoy the freedom of walk in, walk off camping along the Great Ocean Walk route. These hike-in campsites are fuel stove only with eight tent pads catering for 2-3 person tents at each site. Remember to get a camping permit at least 2 weeks before you start your hike.

Warnambool to Nelson

Battersby's camping area – The site features two river landings and is located on the Great South West Walk. Two camp sites available. Located on Glenelg Drive, north east of Nelson.
Forest Camp South – Located on the south side of the Glenelg River the site offers four campsites and river landing with views of the Glenelg River gorge. Access via Wanwin Road.

Sleep under the stars along the Great Ocean Road. Choose from serviced camp grounds throughout region, or sites nestled deep in the Otways. Pitch your tent or park your van by the dunes at remote and secluded beaches. Stay in a forest park or choose a holiday site with full facilities.

Torquay to Apollo Bay

Cumberland River Reserve – Stunning setting beside the river and an idyllic grassed camping area. Located 7 kilometres south-west of Lorne. Access via Great Ocean Road.

Kennett River Foreshore Reserve – Beautiful setting with beach frontage to Bass Strait and beside the Kennett River. Located at Kennett River between Lorne and Apollo Bay. Access via Great Ocean Road.

 

Wye River Reserve – Idyllic setting alongside Bass Strait and the Wye River. Located at Wye River 15 kilometres south of Lorne. Access via Great Ocean Road.

Stevensons Falls – Large camping area beside the river and within easy walking distance of the beautiful Stevensons Falls. Off Skenes Creek-Forest Road at Barramunga south of Colac.

Jamieson Creek – 24 campsites nestled between Lorne and Wye River. Panoramic views just meters from the campground looking out over the ocean and surrounding landscapes.
