Overview
Ace Girls, Melbourne's lesbian tennis training team will help you get fit, improve your tennis, meet people and have fun. Women of all ages and tennis standards can participate in the tennis workshops and social dinners. Training nights are every Monday. Tourists and visitors from the gay and lesbian community are welcome.
The more experienced players travel to tournaments in country Victoria, interstate and internationally. Help can be provided to help you get ready for the international Gay Games and Outgames events. Ace Girls is part of Melbourne's vibrant gay and lesbian sports scene, and is a member of QSAM, the Queer Sports Alliance Melbourne. Beginners and new members are welcome - just send through an email for more details.

Ace Girls win gold at Cologne Gay Games
A dedicated team of six Ace Girls travelled to Germany in 2010 to compete for Australia in the Cologne Gay Games. Two of the players brought home 3 gold medals! The international event hosted over 15,000 athletes in over 30 sports. Ace Girls have been actively competing at the Gay Games since Amsterdam in 1998.
Ace Girls Shine in Recent Tournament
At the Shepparton Easter tournament this year, 520 competitors including 15 Ace Girls contested many hard fought matches on the pristine grass at the 86th annual Open. Of the seven women's singles events offered, Ace Girls made the finals of four events.
