Built in 2005 on the Tabilk backwaters the Tahbilk Cafe is one of the newer additions to the historic Tahbilk Estate. Most visitors like to sit out side on the sweeping deck and listen to the birds as they enjoy their favourite Tahbilk or Dalfarras vino. However not only is the cafe in a beautifully tranquil location it is also home to some tasty food. Priding itself on using locally sourced produce wherever possible the cafe's menu changes with the seasons. Stop in for a look next time you're passing through Central Victoria, this is truly a hidden secret that's not to be missed!

Local directions

Travel 60 minute north of Melbourne along the Hume freeway to the Shepparton turn off. Turn left on to the Goulburn Valley Highway travel around 15 minutes till you come to the sign post Tahbilk Winery, turn left. Travel for 5 minutes till you come to another Tahbilk Winery sign, turn left again. Follow that road into the winery and you will come to the Tahbilk Wetland Café and the Wildlife Reserve.
