The Mill Markets business model was devised in 2002 by Ian Ballis, the Managing Director, with the original site being the former Federal Woollen Mill in Mackey Street North Geelong. This is now open daily as a wholesale warehouse and arts industry estate from 10am to 4pm

The simple concept of leasing space to hundreds of antique, collectable and second hand dealers, allows small business operators, hobbyists, collectors, artists or community groups who otherwise could not afford the overheads of their own shops to showcase their goods.

This is exciting for customers who, upon arrival, are amazed that they can treasure hunt for hours through a diverse range of wares, seven days a week.
