The Woodend Winter Arts Festival has become one of Australia's premier chamber music, literary and visual arts festivals. Held every year on the Queen's Birthday weekend in Woodend, Victoria, the festival promises to be a delight for the senses and an experience to come back for year after year.

They are delighted to offer a wide range of concerts, sessions and events as part of the Festival, in fact, something to tempt everyone who loves the arts.

Each year, the Festival grows and develops and 2012 is no exception. Thousands of festival visitors will experience solo performances, chamber recitals and small orchestral concerts in beautiful settings in and around Woodend and the Macedon Ranges. This year's musical program will include leading names of Australian jazz, guitar and piano and performances of Vivaldi, Schubert and Haydn.

The literary program will include some of Australia's most interesting and provocative authors and commentators - including a pub 'yarn' event, while the visual arts will include pottery, book illustration and a leading Australia comic and graphic artist.

Book accommodation early - and book any special dining early too as demand over that weekend is very high in all outlets.

Tickets for events and concerts and program details will be available from 26 March 2012.
