For those who are up to it, mornings in the city are well worth waking for. The aroma of well-extracted espresso in the air, the rush of commuters, the refreshing sounds of street cleaners erasing evidence of the night before.
Your Mission:
All you have to do is record your favourite Melbourne morning experience in pictures and words. It might be a ride in the park or along Swanston Street (if you are into the adrenaline, especially on a fixed-gear). It might be a Dirty Ron at Jungle Juice. It might be a good espresso and the flakiest pastry you can find. It might even be a ride in a balloon.

Imagine you’ve got 24 hours to impress a stranger who knows nothing about Melbourne. Why? Well let’s just say you are slightly
into them and wouldn’t mind if they stuck around your home town.
Your Mission:
Seduce a stranger using pictures and words. Where is the romance in this city? Maybe it’s in the parks and gardens, the cupcakes in Degraves Street, the galleries up strange flights of stairs, the red wine in
your hand, the cosiest booth at the bar no-one can find.

Let’s face it the Iron Chef has nothing on Melbourne. When it
comes to food, no kitchen stadium can compete with what
this city has to offer.
Your Mission: Eat, drink and be merry. We want your recommendations on where to find supreme cuisine in Melbourne’s kitchen stadium. Whether you’re into late-night dumplings, early-morning souvlaki or joining the queue at Flower Drum, remember to take a camera and record the indulgence.

You might know a thing or two about dressing yourself. Unfortunately, some of us are not as sartorially educated. These people need help from those who know where to look, how to accessorise, which outfits are appropriate for various situations. Basically they need dos and don’ts.
Your Mission: Help the fashionably disadvantaged. Using video, photos and a few words show us the best places to shop. Take us to your favourite boutiques, help us find a bargain or work the plastic with something really very special.

You must have seen them, they’re all over this city, hiding in laneways or down flights of stairs. Closed doors. No sign, just a sense that something interesting lies behind them and a feeling that it might be worth a look. If only you were brave enough.
Your Mission: Find the courage to open doors and reveal the secrets behind them. It might be that you find an artist-run gallery, a local fashion label, a bookshop, a secret restaurant or pocket-sized bar.
Oh, and if anyone asks what you’re doing just explain, “It’s a door, and although designed to be closed it was also designed to be opened.” And if they look displeased, probably best to close the door again then run away and try another.
