Moomba Waterfest

For over 50 years Moomba Waterfest has entertained and delighted as it brings Melbourne’s waterfront to life with four days of FREE public events. With a jam-packed program of old favourites and first-time additions, 2008 will be no exception.  

Don’t miss the colour and movement of the Moomba Parade, the madness of the Birdman Rally, the excitement of the nightly Fireshow on the Yarra, or the thrills of the Moomba Carnival. This year Moomba will again make a splash into Docklands with a day of watersports demonstrations, entertainment and music.  

Other favourites will also be back including the world renowned Moomba Masters International Waterskiing, Active Melbourne – an interactive sporting and come-and-try activities precinct for the whole family,’Dripple Drop’ a new and uniquely interactive theatre show especially for children, and the highly entertaining daily program of performances on the Moomba River Rhythms main stage, including Rockwiz Live!
