| It’s a Friday evening and the sound of clinking glasses and chatter drown out the ambient traffic hum. Bodies overflow into the laneway, forming an impromptu street party. It could be any city bar but in this case it’s the McCulloch gallery. Almost every fortnight sees the launch of a new exhibition and a reason to pop corks and celebrate. Promoting the work of young and emerging artists alongside more established talent, the gallery presents a wide range of genres from portraiture to street-art. So, if you’d like be set up with an investment piece, or seek an artwork to grow old with, McCulloch can play matchmaker.
