2008 will mark the fourth edition of KLM Dutch Orange Day in Melbourne. Named after the Dutch national colour, KLM Dutch Orange Day is a celebration of Dutch culture and traditions for everyone with an interest in The Netherlands. There will be performances by people with a Dutch heritage, with Jess McAvoy performing live on stage, comedian Queenie van de Zandt and Trevor Marmalade hosting the day, and Mr Whiskers and his dog Smiggy entertaining the children. Dutch folklore will be on show in many different ways – clog dancers, a clog maker, sjoelen, and other crafts and games will give an excellent insight into Dutch traditions. There will also be Dutch foods for every to try and enjoy and much more….. So make your way to KLM Dutch Orange Day on Sunday 27th April from 11am till 5pm at Queensbridge Square, Melbourne.
