| After more than a decade, Il Bacaro is still serving balanced Italian meals with a modern influence to a mixture of local suits (grateful for the proximity of this consistent little gem for their business lunches) and romancing couples. The menu features plenty of seafood and game dishes, interspersed with simple and traditional Italian classics. The space is comfortable and subtle, with judiciously placed lighting that flatters the diner and allows one to cheerfully gorge on dishes such as the ever-popular calamari or a plate of carpaccio without feeling spotlighted.
