Art galleries in Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges
A diverse community of artists call this region home. They work in all artistic media using a variety of materials. Furniture makers work with native timbers, iron, steel or bronze. Wearable art and decorative pieces are created in the studios of jewellery makers, silversmiths, glass blowers and ceramists. Sculptors work with sandstone, limestone, wood and metal. And glass artists, painters, printmakers, Koori artists, mural painters, textile artists and potters add to the colour and texture of this vibrant artistic region.
Much of the work finds its way into local galleries in Daylesford, Kyneton, Lancefield, Malmsbury and Woodend, some of which are listed below. Many artists also open their studios so you can see their work in progress. Enquire at the local Visitor Information Centres and galleries about opening hours.
