Overview

Leisure activities

No holiday is complete without taking time out to just relax. The wealth of exciting attractions and leisure activities in Victoria ensure that there is plenty to see and do for the young – and the young at heart.

City frolics

Soak up the rich history and creative culture of Melbourne with a Melbourne Attractions Pass. Save money of entrance fees, tours, scenic rail rides and much more.

Spend a unique evening out at the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel in the Docklands, a 30-minute ride that offers a bird's eye view of the city. Try your luck and skills at carnival games at the Luna Park in St. Kilda, which also features thrilling high-speed rides. Meanwhile, speed lovers will get a kick out of a trip to indoor karting venue Auscarts, or a day on the waterslides at WaterMarc.

For a more relaxed day out, head off to a beach in Melbourne's bayside suburbs or get lost with the kids in the Enchanted Adventure Garden on the Mornington Peninsula.

Further afield

Out in regional Victoria, leisure and fun still reign supreme. Work up an appetite at one of the many regional mini-golf courses, mazes or adventure parks. Reward your efforts with a pint and a meal at any of Victoria's iconic pubs. Meander through wetlands and waterways, or take a walking or cycling trail through the diverse terrain that highlights Victoria's natural beauty. It is also easy to find parks and beaches just perfect for sitting, reading, and yes, doing nothing.
