Regional music venues

Add a night out into your trip to catch your favourite bands and break-out talents in regional music venues across Victoria.

There's a reason why Geelong is home to so many great rock bands. The city's live music venues including the Eureka Hotel and Wool Exchange have long showcased great line-ups and continue to host a bevy of touring bands and visiting DJs.

Chill out to jazz and folk tunes by great local bands in Port Fairy and Wangaratta, see touring Triple J acts in Ballarat and Belgrave, or head out for night on the dance floor in Bendigo. Settle in for a pub meal, catch folk infused afternoon shows in a leafy beer garden, or wait for the sun to go down to catch a wild rock gig.

Check out Melbourne's street publications Beat and The Music or country papers to get details on local shows.
