Halls Gap
Visit Halls Gap – the main tourist hub of the region – in the heart of the Grampians. The picturesque town is set in the Fyans Valley at the foot of the of Wonderland and Mount William ranges and is the perfect place from which to explore the Grampians National Park, one of Victoria's most outstanding natural features.

Take your time to explore the many natural attractions including unique rock formations, scenic lookouts and waterfalls. Get outdoors with a range of adventure activities, from rock climbing and abseiling, to mountain biking and canoeing. Relax and unwind in the picturesque surrounds attracting native locals including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, possums and an abundance of birdlife. Trek along a wealth of walking trails both around the town and throughout the Grampians National Park. Fish in nearby Lakes Bellfield, Lonsdale, Fyans, Wartook and the Wimmera River.
Aboriginal heritage
Learn about the indigenous culture of Gariwerd, the traditional name for the Grampians, at Brambuk – the National Park and Cultural Centre. Discover ancient oven mounds, scatterings of stone left over from tool making, rock art sites and the beliefs handed down from one generation to the next. Walk to one of the Aboriginal rock art shelters that are open to the public and easily accessible.
