Tree Fern Gully Trail

Stroll or cycle among manna gum, mountain ash and shady fern trees as you make your way to Steavenson Falls, one of Victoria's highest waterfalls. This gentle undulating trail links Marysville with Steavenson Falls Scenic Reserve and is the best way to approach the falls.

Find the trailhead at the furthest upstream bridge near the tennis courts in Gallipoli Park. Follow the trail along the Steavenson River for 1.3 kilometres before crossing a bridge back to the southern bank. Keep left at the trail junction immediately after crossing the bridge and walk up to and across Yellow Dog Road. Continue as the trail swings south and enters narrowing rocky valley of the Steavenson Falls Scenic Reserve and finishes at Steavenson Falls Trail with the falls to left and the car park to the right. Return along the same trail.
