Film: Wander Victoria again
Location: Feathertop Winery
Address: 6619 Great Alpine Road, Porepunkah

Just outside Bright, Feathertop Winery produces handcrafted, cool climate wines from 21 varieties of grape grown on the estate. Take your tasting buddies to the cellar door for traditional and alternate varieties including savagnin, vermentino, tempranillo, prosecco and friulano, bound to ruffle a feather or two.

Settle in for long lunch of local, seasonal fare at the alfresco restaurant or perch yourself on the stone terrace and build your own platter of local produce. Indulge in local cheeses, house made baguettes, dips and pestos, olives, pates and trout, all with sweeping views of Mount Buffalo and the Ovens Valley.

Feathertop Winery is cycle friendly, too. Work up an appetite as you two-wheel it to the top.
