Built from local pine in 1912, the beautiful interior timber panelling is a feature of this cosy cottage. One double bedroom and two twin-share rooms have been furnished in period style.
Enjoy the cosy wood fire in winter, or air conditioner in summer. Fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, within the old-style ambience. Enclosed sunroom and separate paved patio provide sheltered outdoor eating and relaxation areas.
Located in the centre of an historic pastoral property, on the edge of 400 hectare pristine species-rich native forest (Box/pine woodland, 200 plus bird species). Ideal for walks or bike riding. Their night skies are brilliant.

Adjacent to exceptional native forest and lignum wetland, the Cottage is ideal for those with environmental interests. Walks and bike rides provide opportunities for seeing up to over 120 bird species, including the rare superb parrot. Kangaroos abound in the species-rich Forest. Historians will appreciate the nearby woolshed/shearers complex, which includes photographic displays and museums, while retaining full functionality. Visitors also enjoy the agricultural areas.
