Screens have become a ubiquitous part of everydaylife. From our homes to our workplaces to our handbags, there’s no escaping LCD. Commissioned to create an interactive installation at Digital Harbour, artist Troy Innocent was inspired by the popularity and possibilities of the iPhone. Apple equipped visitors can download a specially developed application which allows them to log into the local Wi-Fi network and play with 36 light and sound emitting totems. Not that you need to have an iPhone to participate, the interconnected columns also respond to people moving between them.
