In 1863, squatter Simon Staughton left part of his 20,000-hectare property to his son Samuel, who then built a bluestone mansion. The Mansion remains as a well appointed restaurant and reception venue offering great value, up-market food and a very interesting wine list.

The Homestead is the perfect place to relax and enjoy family and friends. This welcoming venue also offers walks through 130 hectares of remnant grey box forest, plus walks around the property`s historic buildings.
There is always something to do at the Homestead, live music every Saturday and Sunday afternoon in the beer garden, farmers market every Sunday morning and much more.

The Homestead is also home of the Eynesbury Golf. All of the holes have been strategically designed to allow for the greatest variance of prevailing weather conditions and to accommodate the widest range of golfing abilities. The fairways are generous and inviting targets however positional play from the tees will always be handsomely rewarded by providing the best angle of attack to the greens.

The Homestead at Eynesbury is the perfect weekend gate away and only 45 minutes from Melbourne CBD.
