Mike played alongside a roll call of major talents, from Coleman Hawkins and Art Blakey to Yusef Lateef, Tony Williams, Sam Rivers and Dave Liebman. His work with pioneering jazz-rock group, The Fourth Way, is regarded by many as crucial in the development of jazz-rock fusion.
