The Mid-Autumn Festival (known as mooncake festival) is an official harvest festival celebrated by over 10 countries within the Asian region. The festival is held on the fifteenth day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar, during a full moon, which is in September.

This festival is held in Dandenong Market and will bring together numerous communities who celebrate this annual occasion. There will be numerous authentic food stalls from nations celebrating and they include China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Japan and other surrounding countries.

There will also be numerous kids activities including lantern making, mooncake eating competition and numerous other activities for kids. This event is held during the Dandenong Market Week and will be an event not to be missed.

Enjoy the numerous food selections and savour the taste of street food and cultural performances.
