The 2017 National Clydesdale and Heavy Horse Festival will be in its 10th year and organisers are working hard to make this year the best Heavy Horse Festival ever.

A fabulous weekend to enjoy with the company of heavy horse exhibitors and lots of attractions to watch ring side and shop until you drop in the trade village. Get up close and personal to these majestic horses.

Breeds on show include Clydesdale, Shire, Percheron, Fjord, Highland Pony, Friesian, Gypsy Cob, Drum Horse and Halflinger.

Things to see include led stud horses, harness, tradesman and delivery harness turnout, show driving, ridden heavy horses, heavy horse dressage, junior handler/rider/driver, fancy dress, long reining, log snig and obstacle course.

There will also be a static display of heavy horse drawn vehicles and farm implements, working draught horse demos and varies displays in the Trade Village.

A great weekend for young and old, lots of food and great coffee, ringside seating at the picturesque Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre.

The National Clydesdale and Heavy Horse Festival is the biggest southern show of heavy horse breeds in Australia.
