Welcome the New Year with an unforgettable experience. This Mount Bogong expedition features great landscapes, bush camps, spectacular riding terrain, great horses and local food & wine.

Journey onto the High Country via East Kiewa and Timms Spur taking in the stunning views across to Mount Bogong before descending down Track 107 into the heritage gold mining area below Mt Wills.

The second half of this tour climbs up the Long Spur track to a camp in the snowgums before traversing across Mount Bogong; the highest accessible horse riding landscape in Australia. The shore footed horses take us down Eskdale Spur and back to the home paddock at Spring Spur.

Offering daily trail rides in the Alpine Park from the Tawonga stables, as well as renowned award winning multi-day packhorse expeditions into Victorias High Country.

Breeding and training Australian Stock Horses, Bogong Horseback Adventures have a program of clinics and workshops in Australian Horsemanship, offering insights into the traditions of mountain horse lore, natural horsemanship and the skills of bush riding, camping with horses and using packhorses.
