Mount Buffalo 

Home to some of the best granite climbing in Australia, Mount Buffalo is a must-visit destination for rock climbing enthusiasts and abseiling aficionados. This sprawling national park offers breathtaking alpine scenery and a vast array of mountainside adventure sports. The Monolith area and Catani slabs are ideal for beginners, while the epic North Wall of The Gorge is a popular choice among advanced climbers.

Alpine National Park

As Victoria’s largest national park, Alpine National Park is a vast area in the High Country comprising jaw-dropping escarpments, winding rivers and tree-clad mountains. The region is home to ten of the tallest mountains in the state, so you can expect high-altitude adventures and epic views. Head to Dinner Plain and Falls Creek for a spot of abseiling or climb summit rock faces at Mount Buller.
