Open Garden at Wallasey-Beaumaris Garden near Beechworth

04 27 997 880

29 - 31 Oct 2016

An opportunity to visit an extensive, historic garden four kilometres south of Beechworth in North East Victoria. The eight hectare garden - created 160 years ago - surrounds a charming miners cottage on the edge of an old gold mining area.

The garden features a vast collection of rare and exotic trees and shrubs, along with a selection of native plants. This garden was one of the first opened with the original Victorian Garden Scheme in 1988.

It has not lost any appeal, and there is a new orchard to inspect as well.
