A Woodland Open Garden at Stanley near Beechworth

04 27 997 880

29 - 31 Oct 2016

Visit a cool-climate, woodland garden along with a sustainable vegetable garden and orchard at Stanley near Beechworth.

The one acre 'home garden' - developed on the site of the original Stanley Church of England - adjoins a seven acre chestnut and quince orchard and tree collection (with over 30 species of oak).

The netted vegetable garden provides produce for the family and the organic rhubarb is sold at CERES in Melbourne. The attractive flowering trees and shrubs attract numerous birds and wildlife - including working beehives.

This charming oasis is worth visiting and exploring.
