Held in the heart of northeast Victoria's High Country region every March Labour Day weekend, the Myrtleford Festival is an annual event traditionally held in celebration of the region's harvests, and is now a public celebration bringing together both community and visitors.

It will be a huge day, showcasing the very best of the region on a plate; with a range of activities for absolutely everyone, full of fun, food, markets, fine arts, demonstrations, kid's carnival, wildlife exhibit and of course free live entertainment.

The main day being Sunday 12 March, 2017 (a big change from previous years). The Great Alpine Road will be closed on the Sunday, linking the wonderful Myrtleford Piazza and Jubilee Park for a super pedestrian and family friendly event.

Free entertainment from 10:00am to 10:00pm - featuring Jeff Cabalar, Liv Cartledge, Route 61, a sensational town parade, then a party in the Piazza from 6:00 to 10:00pm with The Free Spirits, Jammin' On and major act The Pigs (past finalists on Australia's Got Talent). Plus, a special Youth Precinct (stage, music D.J's and much more).

Externally organised events, exhibitions and sporting events throughout the weekend. Full details at the website.
