The historic garden at Seven Creeks Estate, 11 kilometres from Euroa, will open to the public with a Country Fair to be held on Saturday November 26. With a variety of stalls including plants, books, crafts and art; as well as food, beer and wine, family games and activities planned for all ages.

The day will kick off at 10:00am for six hours of fun.

Owners Ross and Rachael Carrington have generously welcomed this event to their home to help the Euroa Health Building Appeal. A raffle on the day will see four lucky people airborne at a time of their choosing, as Ross, a commercial pilot, takes to the skies for a flight over Seven Creeks Estate, Lake Eildon and Mt Buller.

Visitors to the Country Fair will be able to stroll the magnificent gardens surrounding the historic homestead, built in the early 1850’s. Eliza Forlonge planted the first trees at that time, several of which remain. Australian landscape architect Edna Walling sensitively added to the original garden when she created a design in the 1930’s that included stone walls, pergolas and walkways.
