Displaying some of the very best realist animal and bird paintings in Australia, the Bay of Whales Gallery showcases sophisticated, world class oil paintings by Brett Jarrett.

A self taught artist, Brett has dedicated his entire life to observing and documenting the beauty and behaviour of wildlife, in particular marine birds and mammals.

The Bay of Whales Gallery displays over 40 of Brett's latest works and is located 30 minutes drive west of Port Fairy just off the Princes Highway in Southwest Victoria. The Gallery offers a wide diversity of fauna from around the world, from the Arctic’s polar bears and Africa’s big cats to the extraordinary emperor penguin of Antarctica.

With 220 degrees panoramic views between Portland Bay and Lady Julia Percy Island, the Gallery looks south into the Southern Ocean. From the Gallery, Southern Right and Humpback whales can be seen moving along the coast along with several albatross species that are a regular visitor to the southwest coast.
