The 2016 Camperdown Cruise Rockabilly Festival is on Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 October along the historic tree lined main street of Camperdown, taking in the town's iconic clock tower, historic buildings and the grand old dame, the restored Theatre Royal.

South West Victoria is becoming known as the home of a good music festival: Port Fairy has its 'folkie', Koroit has its Irish festival, Lorne, Apollo Bay and Queenscliff to name a few. Now the stunning town of Camperdown plays host to a 1950's Rockabilly weekend.

There will be rockabilly bands performing across three days, morphing the custom car event into a rockabilly 1950's festival and a great family weekend.

So if it is the Rockabilly cars that take your fancy, you will not be disappointed with custom cars on display. If you feel like a bit dance or a tap of the foot the rockabilly bands will keep you busy. And if 1950's glamour fashion is what you are after, the Rock-a-billy music has created a fashion movement that is not fading anytime soon.
