Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park, recently introduced glamping. The ultimate way of enjoying the outdoors in luxury and comfort.

No longer do you have to deal with lost tent poles, flat air mattresses or wet sleeping bags.

Glamping in the Grampians offers a wide variety of glamping options, for all budgets and configurations. Think bell tents, renovated caravan, pod, safari tent overlooking the valley which makes home to hundreds of kangaroos, or what about our aero glamper? A fully function 737 flight simulator attached to a safari tent.

Located in the heart of the Grampians the park offers a fabulous base to explore the Grampians. With its many hikes, waterfalls, rock climbing, abseiling, the opportunity to ride your bike into town, kayaking on the lake, a visit to one of the local wineries and olive groves, a horse ride or just lay back and relax, you are to be guaranteed the Grampians will impress. The outdoor wood fire heated pool will relax your muscles after a day hiking. With the bright skies and starry nights the day becomes complete when sharing a drink around your private campfire.

A gorgeous little caravan, called Queen Maxima, is the parks personal favourite.

Queen Maxima

Room capacity: 3

Queen Maxima sleeps three guests comfortably with a double bed and a single bed. She has a sink, microwave, kettle and toaster and of course its own weber barbecue. She has even been fitted with a fridge to keep your food and beverages nice and cold. Queen Maxima is conveniently located next to the POD. The POD has a queen bed and could function as a second bedroom if you are travelling as a family. Queen Maxima also has space for you to put up a small iglo tent on site 157. Make sure you mention this when booking.

Aeroglamper

The aeroglamper is a safari tent, made of canvas walls and decked out with handmade furniture created from European imported reclaimed wood. The interior design has been created giving this aero glamper a rugged Australian Outback feel. The bed fitted with a mosquito net canopy, not just stops the mozzies but also creates ambiance. The indoor kitchenette with modern comforts like microwave, hot plate, fridge, kettle and toaster and the full bathroom with shower, toilet and sink allows you to enjoy the conveniences off home whilst sleeping under canvas , Aero Glamping is glamping with a twist. The five star luxury safari tent is connected to a fully functional 737 flight simulator. For each day staying in the Aero Glamper you receive a free hour of flying with a flight director. Your choice at which International Airport you want to land.Extra flight hours can be purchased at only $50 per hour. At night you can open the door of the flight simulator, set your flight onto auto pilot into whatever direction and enjoy your journey whilst laying in you ever so comfy king bed! Pinnacle

The Pinnacle is a safari tent, made of canvas walls and decked out with handmade furniture created from European imported reclaimed wood. The bed fitted with a mosquito net canopy, not just stops the mozzies but also creates a romantic ambiance. With the soft lights, a cosy corner to sit back and relax and even an indoor kitchenette with modern comforts like microwave, hot plate, fridge, kettle and toaster. But the real glamping experience doesn’t really start until you get outside. A private outdoor deck, with a barbecue Weber and outdoor lounge with comfortable cushions will let you immerse in the sound and feel of the Australian outdoors. Just imagine on a starry night after a delicious gourmet barbeque, a couple of drinks around the campfire, to pop into the bath, to than slip into your ever so comfortable bed to wake up with the sounds of the birds. If you are looking for a truly unique at one with nature Aussie five-star experience in pure comfort and luxury, whilst being up close with Australian Wildlife and its outdoor lifestyle look no further.

Bell Tent

Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park has four bell tents, each with its own theme you will be able to forget about your day to day, unwind, explore, be inspired and feel refreshed ready to face your day to day with a new spring in your step. Please note the bell tents are a couples retreat and the park can not allow children. If you do have a child, it is recommended that you book the retro caravan, Queen Maxima. Located in the heart of the Grampians the park offers a fabulous base to explore the Grampians. The bell tents come with their own themes, Northern Lights, Mediterranean Isles, French Riviera and Aussie Outback.

POD

Room capacity: 2

The Pod is conveniently located next to Queen Maxima the vintage caravan. He can function as a second bedroom or be booked on its own. The pod sleeps two and has a barbecue weber on its private deck, overlooking the creek, connection Lake Bellfield to the rest of the Wimmera. It is small yet comfortable. The Pod is ideal when you like a solid roof and a comfortable bed. Of course, can you hire a fire drum which we will deliver so you can enjoy each other’s company around the campfire.
