The Railway Café and Tracks Bar is set in the magnificent Maryborough Railway Station. The building itself is an Iconic attraction featuring ornate timber ceilings, large open fire place, lead light windows and the most amazing platform. As Mark Twain stated in 1895 – 'a station with a town attached'.The Railway Café offers generous casual meals six days a week (closed Tuesdays) Daily breakfasts run until 11:30am. Tracks Bar operates on the same six days and also with the restaurant, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. There is the option of more fine dining in the restaurant or simple tasty snacks in the bar areas. Function menus are available giving options of many different scenarios for your special events, from bus groups to weddings, parties, high tea, live music and more. Now with a daily train arriving weekdays from Melbourne/Ballarat, there are facilities to offer a train travel luncheon deal.There are also gallery areas with art by local artists, homewares and provedore items for sale. Special events can be catered for on the magnificent platform, the café area, the grand hall or in the intimate private dining room.
