Now in its 45th year, the Tarra Festival has grown in popularity and size each year. For 2017, the theme of the festival will be “Dreamtime”, featuring in particular the stories of the GunaiKurnai people.

The do not miss activity is the Street Parade on Easter Saturday which includes floats from the local schools and community groups, horses, penny farthings, vintage cars, trucks and more. There are street entertainers, sausage sizzles, cake stalls and heaps of fun for everyone.

Prior to the street parade is the Yarram Market and afterwards is the Lions Family Fun Day in Yarram. Activities run across the whole weekend with markets and fun in Port Albert on Sunday, the Monster Markets in Yarram on Monday, and the "Really Living Expo" focussing on Natural Therapies and Sustainable Living, to name but a few of the offerings.

So whatever you are doing at Easter long weekend, come and experience Tarra Festival and make sure you do not miss one of Gippsland's biggest and most popular events.
